CEO – Stephanie Kleinheinz, RN,MSN, FNP-c
Stephanie began her career as a Family Nurse practitioner within the School Health Clinics as a provider at both the Washington and Gilroy Neighborhood Clinics, and was hired as Director of Clinic Services in the summer of 2009. Stephanie earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and earned her Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, CA. She started her nursing career at Kaiser Permanente and worked in Critical Care. Stephanie has always had an interest in providing quality health care to underserved populations and hopes to extend services to those in need through her role as CEO.
Medical Director – Claude Rogé, M.D.
Dr. Rogé is a Board Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Before joining the School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County, Dr. Rogé practiced at Kaiser as a Pediatric Cardiologist and at UCSF where he was a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Rogé has experience working in Africa. He also has been a member of medical teams in several missions in Haiti and Peru.
Clinic Manager/Quality Improvement Coordinator – Stephanie Vielma, BHSA
Stephanie Vielma is a passionate and dedicated professional with more than ten years of experience working in ambulatory and clinical settings serving diverse patient populations. She brings excellent skills in health care information technology; electronic health records, data and analytical expertise, as well as training and development. Stephanie Vielma possesses a varied back ground working with clinical professionals and values relationship building. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Credentials and Certifications that she has received are; Certified Medical Assistant from Everest College in 2008, and Credentialed Epic Ambulatory Trainer, 2015. Stephanie received her undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration, with a concertation in Management from University of Phoenix 2016.
Chief of Operations/ Chief Financial Officer - Jocelyn Hart
Jocelyn joined School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County in 2015. She oversees operations including facilities, IT and financial operations. She comes with over 15 years HealthCare management experience in the Medical and Dental fields. Jocelyn received her undergraduate degree in Health Science with a minor in Sociology from San Jose State University. In addition, Jocelyn obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Health Education Manager - Claudia Mendivil, MPH
Claudia Mendivil, MPH, joined School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County (SHCSCC) in 2011. She is responsible for the oversight of the various school and community-based, health education activities, which range from health education and health promotion to students and parents in the classroom and in the community. Claudia received her undergraduate degree in Health Science with a minor in Social Work from San Jose State University. In addition, Claudia obtained her Master's Degree in Public Health from San Jose State University.
Grant Writer/Fund Developer - Jessica Keaton
Jessica Keaton joined School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County in 2017. Previously, she taught English classes at San José State University while completing her graduate work. In 2016, she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, specializing in Creative Nonfiction. A Georgia native, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Creative Writing from Young Harris College in 2011. She is delighted to be using her skills to help School Health Clinics receive funding for current and future facilities and programs that will provide access to healthcare for Santa Clara County’s low-income families. When she is at home, she enjoys working on her own writing while watching Chopped with her cat, Dora, on her lap.
Administrative Assistant - Erika Garcia
Erika Garcia has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and joined School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County in 2008 as a Medical Assistant. In 2011, she became a Lead Medical Assistant and in the following year her role transitioned into the organization’s Administrative Assistant. She oversees all administrative functions for the entire organization. She is willing to help with anything and everything and is the support to the administrative staff as well as the staff at all five clinics. Due to her Medical Assisting background, she is always willing to help when needed in the clinics. When she is not the purple-loving office maven, she is going to concerts and listening to music by Mariah Carey.

VP Treasurer, Polycom Inc. - Chair
Walter Boileau has over 30 years in Finance and has been VP Treasurer of Polycom Inc. for over 7 years. He has a BS in Math from UC Davis and an MBA from University of Santa Clara. Walter lives in Danville, CA with his wife; they have one son who is married and lives in Oakland, CA. His favorite pastimes are golf, music, art and wine.
Retired Engineer - Secretary/Treasurer
Program Coordinator Health Services, SJUSD
Susan Aldrich is a credentialed school nurse for San Jose Unified School District. She currently serves in the role of a program coordinator for the Health and Family Support Programs department. She was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in California for 20 years. Susan has been a member of the School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County Board of Directors since 2011.
Nurse Manager of Pediatrics, Kaiser Permanente
Accounting Business Advisor, Google
Rushabh Gandhi joined the board in January 2017. He holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and has 7 years of industry experience working at Google and Cloudflare. He is currently working on his own startup (an online community for pet owners) and hopes to use his business and startup experience to help School Health Clinics of SCC achieve its mission.
Operations Manager, Google Fiber
Mary has been on the Board of SHC since 2015. She works at Google as a Director of Operations in the Access department, working to get better & faster internet to people around the country. In her spare time she loves to climb or bike or ski, especially in Yosemite, or to do pretty much anything that entails getting outside and exploring.
Assurance Senior Manager, Burr Pilger Mayer, Inc.
Reena has over sixteen years of extensive experience in public accounting and consulting services for a variety of private and publicly traded companies in high-tech (software and SAAS), manufacturing, construction, and agriculture industries Significant experience performing audits of multinational companies, and technical expertise in revenue recognition, business combinations and equity transactions.

Ashish Singh is a Director of Advisory Services at Salesforce.com, a global cloud computing company. He works with large enterprises to make their vision a reality through strategy development, capability-building and digital transformation. He is passionate about providing a better quality of life for people around the world and helps strengthen non-profit organizations to achieve their goals.
Ashish holds an M.S in Computer Science from Pondicherry University and an M.S. in Physics from Magadh Univerity, India.
Ivan Lopez is currently a junior in San Jose State University working on obtaining his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. His ultimate goal is to earn a B.A. in Management because he enjoys working with other people from different backgrounds. Before attending San Jose State University, he attended Cabrillo College, where he earned an A.A. degree in Business with an honorable mention.
Alma Isela De La Vara
Alma joined Valley Medical Center (VMC) in January 2016. She creates Epic technical training for surgical nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. In previous roles, Alma has worked as a program manager in human resources (HR) and organizational development (OD) for hospitals in California and Arizona and an HR and OD consultant for medical practices in the desert southwest. Alma’s program management experience has led her to create successful and sustainable training programs in patient experience, lean six sigma, interpreter management, new hire orientation, patient safety, and electronic medical charting. A native of Yuma, AZ, Alma completed a BA in Business Administration from University of Maryland while serving in the U.S Air Force. Later received an MBA from University of Phoenix. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking trips to Arizona and around the world, and being an avid SF Giants and 49ers fan.
